The birds flying close to the ground, into the sky, or all in unison as they migrated displayed different perspectives and meanings, but all still kept to the cohesiveness of the writing.

The somber tone of "The Judgement of the Birds," specifically, in the scene where the raven is attacking the nest, exemplifies the thought provoking works we have studied throughout the semester. I believe this shows that while nature can be cruel and violent, it continues on. This can be represented in the way in which the songs of the birds continue because there is nothing else they can do. The birds' verdict becomes a powerful reminder of the interconnectedness of all life forms and the profound impact that human choices can have on the delicate balance of the natural world.

He also emphasizes looking at nature through a different lens. Specifically the lens of the birds, as they are just as shocked as we are to be existing within the same realm. I was lucky enough to be a part of the group presenting on this piece, and I am truly grateful as I was able to fully dive into the literature and gain a new sense of understanding of the balance of nature from it.
