The Zoo I recently attended the Fort Worth Zoo for the first time. This was something I had been wanting to do for the past three and a half years I have attended school at TCU. Especially, since it is located right down the street from campus. I found myself having a spare moment where I wasn’t consumed by classes or school work, and it just so happened to correlate with my mother coming into town for the annual tree lighting ceremony. The air was a bit chilly and crisp in the morning as we enjoyed our coffee together on the Trinity River Trail. This is when we looked across the river and noticed the zoo. Spontaneously, we made our way over, not knowing what we were about to experience. As we approached the zoo entrance, the vibrant colors of the entrance gate greeted us.
